Aluminum Gong Show 2015

It’s boisterous. It’s breathtaking. It’s bad. It’s back! The Aluminum Gong Show returns to to Alumflamingo.

You know the rules: Play an instrument, tell a joke, perform an interpretive dance, and/or sing a song while the audience cheers…or you get the gong.

Anyone and everyone is encouraged to perform! It’s all in good fun, and proceeds go to charity. (Read more details here.)

Add your guitar, bongos, costume, comic props and whatever else you need to bring down the house to your Alumaflamingo packing list, and look for the sign-up form at the registration desk when you arrive in Sarasota.KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Alumaflamingo 2015 will be full of other fun entertainment, including live shows most nights, jam sessions, and popular crowd-pleaser Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours.

New: Day passes!

You ask, we listen! In response to requests we’re now offering a one-day admission to Alumaflamingo. With this pass you’ll gain entry to Robarts Arena where all the seminars, entertainment, and meals (whatever it might be that day: breakfast, coffee, donuts, or dinner), will be held.

The non-camping (“walk-in”) single-day pass for Tuesday through Friday is available for $25. The pass for Saturday—which includes the swap meet, Golf Cart Mayhem, the amazing Alex and Charon show, catered buffet dinner, and the evening Josh Rogan concert (whew!)—is only $50.

Local Floridians, a one-day admission is a terrific opportunity for you to taste a slice of Alumaflamingo, right in your own back yard.

Day passes are not refundable or transferable to other days. Access to the camping area, new Airstream sales, vendors, and the attendee open house, is still always free to anyone.  Click here to buy your Alumaflamingo day pass (please purchase in advance).

A “walk-in” pass for the entire week is also available for those who’d like to attend without a rig.  The ticket price of $70 per person gains your admission to every meal and event on the schedule, just like those who are camping overnight. Buy this pass through our online registration form, or purchase when you arrive.

Airstream at Alumaflamingo

Can’t make it to Jackson Center this year? No problem, Airstream, Inc. will be present at Alumaflamingo!

Representatives from the factory will be among the Airstreamers in Sarasota. You’ll have an opportunity to interact with The Mothership at their vendor booth, and Dave Schumann—longtime Airstream expert and General Manager of the Service Center at Airstream, Inc.—will conduct two excellent seminars. Service and repairs will be available, and a factory technician will be present to assist.

Do you need parts from the factory? Save on shipping: Order from the Airstream service center and your items will be available to pick up at Alumaflamingo. (Are repairs in your future? Now’s the time to order large or fragile parts to be sent to you in Sarasota.)

News you can use…onsite!

Alumaflamingo attendees, you’ll like the alert system we’ve set up. It allows you to get text messages with important notifications (like weather warnings, last-minute changes, and reminders) while you’re in Sarasota.

The system operates during Alumaflamingo only (we don’t save any phone numbers and use them only during the event for alerts).
